Family • India • Jun 2026I booked this hotel based on the photos displayed online and its rating of 7/10 from over 220 reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was completely different from what was advertised, leaving me feeling misled and cheated.I arrived at the hotel around midnight on 19th. The first shock came when I saw the lift. It was so tiny that it could barely accommodate two people. While we were waiting, an intoxicated guest pushed past us and entered the lift. Moments later, someone shouted from upstairs asking whether I had a booking. With great difficulty, the two of us squeezed into the lift along with our two suitcases, only to discover that the drunk individual was either working for the hotel or was the broker.The staff member assigned to assist us to our room was dressed unprofessionally in a banian and shorts. Upon reaching the room, we struggled to open the door. Instead of helping courteously, he appeared irritated whenever we sought assistance.The room itself was a huge disappointment. It was small, shabby, and poorly maintained. There were two broken chairs that looked as though they had been picked up from a second-hand furniture shop. The windows were old, broken and covered with worn-out curtains. The flush was not functioning properly, and the taps were old and in poor condition. Basic amenities such as soap and towels were not provided, and our request for them was declined.By morning, we had seen enough and decided to check out immediately. Despite having paid for two full days, no one at the hotel bothered to ask why we were leaving within a few hours of arrival. Their indifference suggested that they were more interested in quickly renting the room to another unsuspecting guest than addressing customer concerns.What is most disappointing is that I booked this property based on the online rating and photographs. The condition of the hotel bore little resemblance to what was advertised. This raises serious questions about the authenticity of the reviews and images displayed online. Whether the responsibility lies with Agoda, OYO, Hotel O Paradise Circle, or all of them collectively, someone needs to be held accountable for what appears to be a fraudulent misrepresentation of the property.This experience cost me my hard-earned money, caused significant inconvenience, and completely eroded my trust in the booking platform. I would strongly advise potential guests to exercise extreme caution before booking this hotel.
