Coral Reef Resort & Spa, Havelock

My stay was wonderful from start to finish. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me warmly and professionally, making me feel right at home. Checking in was easy, and everyone was courteous, friendly, and eager to help. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable, equipped with all the essentials. Housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout my visit. The meals were fresh, tasty, and varied, and the restaurant team delivered excellent service. The setting is lovely and tranquil, ideal for a peaceful getaway. Every aspect, from the atmosphere to the service quality, showed the hotel's dedication to guest satisfaction. I am grateful to the whole staff for making my stay so memorable. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking great hospitality, comfort, and value. Our stay at Coral Reef Resort Havelock was wonderful and unforgettable. The staff were courteous and accommodating. The food tasted great. The private beach was stunning. Room service was excellent. Hats off to the Coral Reef team ☺️

We reserved the Turquoise room for two days during the off season, unaware that the hotel was undergoing renovations. Upon arrival, we expected a great stay since Coral Reef is considered one of the top hotels in Havelock. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. The food we ordered was stale, despite the high prices charged for each item. Although the food is overpriced, we were willing to pay if it was good quality. We had to complain to the chef, and while they replaced the food, the new dishes were also stale and overly salty. It felt like they did not want to serve us what we wanted. Despite multiple complaints, the same issues occurred the next day. As compensation, they moved us to the Sapphire room, which was even worse than the Turquoise room. The TV was outdated, more like a computer, and had to be controlled with a cursor, which was very annoying. The door lock malfunctioned, and we had to call reception every time to open the door because the card key would expire quickly. The Sapphire room costs more than the Turquoise, but the facilities were inferior. Do not book the Sapphire room expecting a partial sea view; you can only see trees near the sea. They show no seriousness in maintaining the Sapphire rooms. I advise against choosing Sapphire rooms as the price is high but the experience will disappoint. I am from the Andamans myself and have never encountered such poor treatment at a tourist spot. Tourism is the main income source here, and this kind of hospitality will not help locals grow if they do not take their jobs seriously. Whether off season or peak season, guests should be treated well. My overall experience at Coral Reef was extremely bad. Even though I had many hotel options, I chose Coral Reef expecting the best stay. The receptionist repeatedly asked when we were checking out, even though we had booked for two days. This behavior is unacceptable, especially when charging sky-high prices during the off season. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. There are many smaller hotels that value their guests instead of making them adjust. Overall, it was the worst experience, just a way to exploit people in the name of Coral Reef.

The swimming pools and spa were excellent. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, although some staff seemed unclear about the meaning of "vegan." Our room was great, though certain areas like the bathroom could have been cleaner. We enjoyed a stunning view of the beach and sea from our room, making our stay very pleasant.
