Our experience was very disappointing. We had explicitly mentioned during a phone call that we were celebrating a birthday and asked specifically for a booking at the Sundeck, but this was not honored despite the clear discussion. The hotel is quite a distance from my home, so the whole trip felt like a waste of time and effort. If you make requests or get promises over the phone, I highly suggest recording the conversation, as staff may later deny or retract what was agreed upon. I've stayed at other Marriott hotels and received much better service and hospitality; this experience did not meet the Marriott standard I expected.

I called Marriott to book a reservation at the sundeck for my birthday. The staff took the reservation and informed me about the services but did not mention that the sundeck facilities were currently unavailable. When we arrived, we were told that the sundeck was under renovation and that we would have to dine in the restaurant arena instead. We tried to explain our disappointment to the hotel staff, but the person assisting us aggressively defended his senior without considering our negative experience. Overall, it was a terrible experience with the hospitality here. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good time in Gorakhpur.

I came to your restaurant recently. The staff's service was quite bad and impolite. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and nobody checked on us. It was a very letdown experience. Please consider improving staff training so future guests don't encounter this.
