Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur

Contrary to others' opinions, I thought the buffet food was quite delicious. Maybe the variety was well chosen, or perhaps it was just a one-time thing. Whatever the cause, the food was really flavorful.

Honestly, the place has an amazing atmosphere! ✨ It's gorgeous, spotless, and the service is excellent. Staying here feels very luxurious. However, the food was quite disappointing. It felt pretty average and didn't meet expectations for such a large hotel. The look and comfort get a perfect score, but the dining definitely requires significant improvement.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Courtyard by Marriott, Gorakhpur. The restaurant offers a wide and impressive selection, blending local tastes with classic Indian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the UP Regional Flavors: the authentic Parwal Bhaji cooked just right, and the rich Mawa Gujiya that added a lovely local touch. The vegetarian Biryani was fragrant and full of flavor, perfectly complemented by a comforting Dal Tadka. Overall, the food was delicious, the variety excellent, and the hospitality outstanding. Definitely a must-visit place in Gorakhpur.

The interior and management are both good.

I stayed for just one day, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The view outside the hotel was excellent. There was ample parking with an EV charging station, which is very important nowadays. The service was very good. The reception and receptionist were professional and experienced. They quickly handled our identity verification and paperwork, allowing us to check in promptly. We all enjoyed the welcome drink. The room was stocked with bottled water, tea, green tea, coffee, white and brown sugar, and even sugar-free packets. The bathroom was clean but had a slight odor; towels and hand towels were neatly arranged. Disposable dental kits, moisturizer, and soap were provided properly, while shaving kits were available upon request. The small fridge, electric iron, locker, and electric kettle were clean and well-maintained. The swimming pool was right behind my room, clean and refreshing, though the water was a bit warm due to the weather and disinfectants. Overall, the stay was pleasant and enjoyable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including healthy, special, and made-to-order items prepared by the staff.
