Where Luxury Meets Care!My experience at this property exceeded the usual expectation of a calm and comfortable stay. There was nothing wrong with the quality service that could be pointed out. The Courtyard Suite is well-appointed keeping in mind the luxury, aesthetics and comfort of guests in mind. The food served was sumptuous but you would find a lot of options catering to guests looking for something more homely. I believe that staff are one of the most important factor in success of a property. The staff at this property are thoroughly professional and caring. I would like to express my special appreciation for Takeshwari, Rashmita and Sonu. I would be looking forward to staying at this property whenever I next visit Raipur.

Awful Experience: Marriott Raipur ’ A Disaster for the Brand’This detailed feedback is provided so that you can improve your service and quality, ensuring you do not let down future customers the way you let me down.’I visited Raipur Kitchen at Marriott Courtyard Raipur on February 14, 2026, for the dinner buffet. It was the most substandard buffet I have ever experienced. I did not expect it to be this poor; it felt like a cheap buffet in a "wannabe" establishment.’Key Issues:’Poor Reception: When we entered, the reception counter was unattended because the staff was busy accommodating other guests. We waited 10 minutes just to be shown to our table.’Lacking Salad Counter: The salad counter was all decoration and no substance. There were no ingredients and no labeled bowls. I honestly wondered if the counter was just for show.’Substandard Main Courses: We ordered ravioli and pasta. After 20 minutes, the chef claimed it had already been sent out, only for us to realize the staff had delivered our plates to another table. When the food finally arrived, the pasta was substandard and the ravioli was the worst I’ve had’hard and inedible. It is hard to believe Marriott cannot serve a decent pasta.’Recycled Food: It appeared that leftovers from a previous buffet were kept in the sweets and salad sections. The dessert section was embarrassing; the chocolate sauce was cold, the pastries were hard, and everything felt like day-old leftovers.’Poor Beverage Quality: You couldn't even provide a decent beverage. The watermelon and pineapple drinks were sickly sweet. When a "fresh" watermelon drink finally appeared, there were only four glasses, and it vanished instantly.’Slow Refills: The fruit salad counter took at least 30 minutes to be refilled. We were forced to wait until after dinner was finished just to get some.’Missing Orders: We ordered an omelet that never arrived.’Service Delays: A simple order of ice cream took 30 minutes to reach our table.’Lack of Cutlery: No spoons or forks were available. We had to wait 15 minutes just to get basic utensils.’Payment Disrespect: I paid via Dineout as per my booking. After paying, the staff member asked me to wait a few minutes to confirm the payment. I waited for 15 minutes with no sign of him. When I finally found him at the bill desk, he casually mentioned the payment was confirmed. When I pointed out that I had been waiting for him to return, he simply smiled.’Conclusion’I recently had a lunch buffet at the Marriott in Bangalore, and it was an excellent experience with top-tier food and service. Marriott Raipur is the complete opposite. How can there be such a massive disparity in service? Is the Raipur location run by politically linked management who assumes the local people are ignorant of what quality service and good food should be?’I will not be returning. Service is very poor. It looks we have booked a room in Jail. Lift has the same access card as room. We both are booked one room husband and wife. But provided only one card. Everytime we have to ask the receptionist to give access in the lift so as we get access to our room.This looks like JAIL I have been to other 5star hotels but none are like this. They will give access everytime. This looks as if we are beggars. Even a small hotel has good freedom. I have asked about one more card for my wife. They said NO.Then coming to the room interiors . The centralised AC is not working well. If we are increasing the temperature still the room is cold all the time. Then we need to switch off AC then full suffocation only. There was complaint regarding the AC but no body attended properly. The manager incharge is not serious enough to attend the issue.We have booked the room for 2 nights. The room access card stopped after one day. It was pure embarrassment. The reception manager says there was some technical error. How can such mistakes happen by such high paying managers.Hotel should think about such incidents and ensure pleasant stay for the customers.Please opt for this hotel only if you are left with no other choice.
