Daleside Manor, Boutique Hotel, Kasauli

The rooms at Daleside Manor were nice, with a comfortable mattress, and check-in was efficient since the room was ready upon arrival. However, for a hotel advertised as 5-star, several aspects did not meet expectations. The towels and bathroom cleanliness were not up to the standard I would expect from such a property. The biggest letdown was the food: the room service paneer gravy was mostly watery with few paneer pieces, and the soup was overly salty and nearly inedible. Breakfast was also disappointing, offering limited choices and food quality below expectations. I ordered an iced coffee that came without ice and was just coffee diluted with water, no milk. When I inquired, I was told that was their usual preparation. After requesting a remake, the second attempt was better but still unusual. The most upsetting part was the reaction at checkout when I shared my feedback about the poor food. The receptionist basically said they would have replaced it if I had asked, without acknowledging or apologizing, which felt dismissive and shifted responsibility onto me. In summary, while the room comfort was good, the food quality, cleanliness, and especially the handling of feedback did not align with what I expect from a 5-star hotel.

A wonderful experience for both young and old. I visited with my family, including two toddlers and my elderly parents. The staff were very kind and attentive to the kids. The food was excellent. The hotel is beautiful and offers outstanding hospitality. I would definitely like to return.

In the first week of July 2025, our group stayed at Daleside Manor, Kasauli. We reserved a family room consisting of two connected rooms with en-suite bathrooms plus an additional separate room, and this setup suited us perfectly. From arrival, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, making us feel welcome throughout. Check-in was easy, and every request was promptly and cheerfully addressed. The rooms were large, nicely decorated, impeccably clean, and offered beautiful views of the hills. The family suite was particularly convenient, letting us enjoy time together while maintaining privacy. The food was a standout feature, with every meal fresh, tasty, and carefully prepared. Whether breakfast or dinner, the quality and flavor were consistently excellent. The property is tranquil, elegant, and surrounded by greenery, providing a perfect escape from city life. Although close enough to explore Kasauli, returning to the hotel's peaceful atmosphere after outings was very refreshing. We want to specially acknowledge the Daleside Manor team for their sincere warmth and attention to detail, which greatly contributed to our memorable holiday. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Daleside Manor to anyone seeking a luxurious yet homely experience in Kasauli. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

Throughout our visit, the hotel's support team went beyond what we expected. The employees were professional, welcoming, and available around the clock to help with everything, from speedy check-in to organizing transport and offering local tips. Their meticulous care and dedication to outstanding hospitality made our stay not just good but unforgettable. It's uncommon to experience service that is both prompt and personal, yet this hotel achieved just that. My family and I had a wonderful time here and will definitely return, all thanks to the excellent service from the hotel staff, especially Ajay, Manisha, and the entire team.
