Dolphin Resort in Havelock is easily one of the best budget-friendly stays on the island, especially if you're looking for rooms with direct beach views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the Deluxe category and had a great experience. The property itself is quite expansive, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. It's perfect for a relaxed evening stroll while enjoying the sea breeze. One thing that really stood out was the thoughtful attention to detail in the room amenities. For example, there was even a small thread-and-needle kit provided. It seemed like a minor addition at first, but it actually came in handy when one of my shirt buttons came loose—definitely appreciated that!Another plus is the location. There are some great cafés and dining options nearby; for instance, Full Moon Café is just about a kilometer away and worth checking out.Overall, if you're looking for a value-for-money resort in Havelock that offers comfort, great surroundings, and beach access, Dolphin Resort is hard to beat.
The hotel is well located and offers a long private beach, which is a major advantage. The room was spacious and featured a balcony with a clothes drying stand. However, the amenities could be improved—some lights were not functioning, and the main bathroom tap was quite tight to operate. The restaurant prices are relatively high, though the food quality is good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, especially for those looking to relax, as the private beach eliminates the need to travel elsewhere.
