Forest County Resort Mahabaleshwar

The room was quite nice. The overall stay was wonderful. The food tasted great.

Great resort and I am glad to stay here.

I stayed in Suite Delonix 102, one of the priciest room types at the hotel, but the suite's condition did not meet the expectations or justify the cost. The room and furniture were poorly maintained and not cleaned well. The bed's plywood was damaged, and similar wear was seen on the cupboards and door. The curtains were dirty, and the bedsheet had a tear. Some lights in the room were not working. Although coffee and tea sachets were provided, there was no equipment to prepare them, and the AC remote was missing. The bathroom had low water pressure in the shower, which also malfunctioned. The bathroom door did not close properly, and the mirror above the basin was broken, making it hard to see clearly. The Jacuzzi was a major concern; it caused a short circuit shortly after turning it on, making it unusable. The outdoor gazebo was dirty with chicken bones and leftover food on the floor and was not cleaned before use. Given this was a suite and one of the more expensive options, I expected a much better-maintained and premium experience, but it did not feel like a suite at all due to numerous maintenance and cleanliness problems. The property needs better upkeep, regular maintenance, and thorough room checks before guest arrival. On the plus side, the food was generally good, including Cheese Balls, Paneer Chilli, Dal Tadka, Jeera Rice, and the complimentary breakfast, though the Veg Dum Biryani was disappointing. The staff and service were courteous and good overall, but excellent service cannot make up for poor property maintenance. The property has potential, and the staff are good, but the suites especially require significant improvements in maintenance and cleanliness. For the suite price, I expected a much better experience. I sincerely hope Nana addresses these issues, as we choose Shauryawada for its name, reputation, and trust, and I hope it continues to uphold that standard.

I stayed at this hotel about 20 days ago. The hotel's location is convenient, but the service and room upkeep were disappointing. Our room was soaked because of water leakage, and the air conditioning was faulty. Although the manager promised to provide another room, no alternative was arranged. The bathroom was very dirty, and the room cleaning during our stay was inadequate. Overall, the rooms and bathrooms require improved maintenance and cleanliness. On the bright side, the food was excellent; I really enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner—the meals were definitely a highlight. If location is your priority, this hotel could work, but if you expect good service, cleanliness, and well-maintained rooms, I wouldn't recommend it right now.

Had an outstanding experience at the resort; the food was delicious, the rooms were large and spacious, the staff provided excellent service, and the rooms were kept in great condition overall.
