I arrived at the hotel at around 12.40 PM and was made to wait for almost two hours for my room. What was particularly disappointing was seeing other guests who arrived after me being allocated their rooms before mine.During the process, I was repeatedly asked about my booking details, and it gave me the impression that guests who book through third-party platforms or travel agents are given lower priority compared to those who book directly through the Taj Innercircle hotel’s website. If this is indeed the practice, I find it extremely unfair and disappointing.Regardless of the booking channel, every guest who chooses to stay at Gateway should be treated with the same level of respect and service. The booking method should not make a guest feel like a "second-class citizen."I was also asked about a GST invoice and was told that the hotel could not provide one. I would appreciate clarity on whom I should approach to obtain the appropriate GST invoice for my stay.Overall, this experience has been quite disappointing. I had specifically chosen Gateway for my stay and expected a much better level of service and fairness. This experience has certainly made me reconsider my choice when making future bookings.
