Couple • India • Sep 2026Our experience with Coorgology was very disappointing even before our stay started, leading us to cancel our booking. The host suggested a cab driver as a trusted provider, quoting ₹7,000 for two days plus ₹4,000 for a drop to Bangalore. Later, the price was suddenly raised to ₹14,000. Our issue was not the fare but the inconsistency in pricing. Since the driver was recommended by the property, we raised this with the host and mentioned it would be part of our feedback. The host responded rudely, calling our feedback "threatening" and "not appropriate," and said they would consider this when reviewing our booking. This made us uncomfortable as customers, since honest feedback should not be seen as a threat or affect confirmed bookings. After this, we chose to cancel our stay. This review concerns our pre-stay experience, host communication, and the cab recommendation, not the rooms or property itself. A beautiful property alone doesn't define hospitality; professional communication, transparency, and handling concerns well matter too. Sadly, we found these lacking and would not recommend this place.

Coorgology Estate is one of the top places to stay in Coorg! We had a fantastic time there. The service was outstanding, especially from Tejas brother, who was very friendly and supportive during our visit. The food was delicious and of high quality. I strongly suggest eating at the estate rather than going out — you won’t regret it. Prices were reasonable too. Our room was somewhat small but sufficient for two people. The highlight was being surrounded by the forest, which made the stay very calm and rejuvenating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely suggest Coorgology Estate to anyone seeking a peaceful and cozy stay in Coorg.
