Gir Lions Paw Resort with Swimming Pool

The best heritage themed resort in Sasan Gir. The property is surrounded by forest.If you want to stay close to nature and want to enjoy with the friends and family then this is the best place to go. The owner of the resort Mr.Dhadhal is very humble and a true gentleman. The staff is very polite. The food is good like home without any artificial food colors. Best place for selfie/ photo lovers as they have created many photo corners. Also there are many cozy chit-chat corners with very beautiful lighting enhancing the atmosphere where you can sit and enjoy with your friends and family. I really enjoyed my stay at this property.

I had a wonderful stay at Lions Paw Gir Resort. The place offers beautiful views that make the whole experience even more relaxing. The food was absolutely fabulous ’ every dish had amazing taste and felt freshly prepared. What stood out the most was the staff’s politeness and good behaviour. They were always helpful, welcoming, and made sure we had a comfortable stay. Overall, a great resort with excellent food, stunning views, and truly humble staff. Highly recommended! ’’’

This is a unique resort ambience that transports you to live inside jungle. Do not except a fancy, modern hotel stay here. This is a large property, with old style high roof spacious rooms. Food is standard and only veg. Lots of selfie points and bon fire in night to enjoy outdoors and good conversations. The opposite side of this hotel is part of Gir jungle, so the approach to this property needs a private transport and road is kuchha like going inside a jungle. Being old property, the age is visible but they have kept it clean. Recommend if you as a group are looking for a different experience but not a posh or polished stay.

Deeply Disappointing Stay ’ Not Worth the ExpenseMy experience at Gir Lion Paw Resort in Sasan Gir was extremely disappointing and far from what was promised online. The property’s photographs and descriptions are highly misleading. Upon arrival, the room assigned to me was in a poor state ’ dusty, unkempt, and carrying a musty odor that suggested it had not been properly cleaned for quite some time. The bedsheets appeared reused, and the bathroom facilities were below even basic hygiene standards.Service quality was equally disheartening. The staff demonstrated a complete lack of attentiveness and hospitality. Simple requests ’ such as drinking water or housekeeping ’ were either neglected or met with indifference. The swimming pool was poorly maintained, with murky water that made it entirely unusable. Furthermore, the absence of a designated parking area added unnecessary inconvenience to an already unpleasant stay.The most frustrating aspect, however, was the pricing. The resort charges rates comparable to a mid-range hotel but delivers an experience inferior to that of a budget roadside accommodation. There are several far superior, cleaner, and more professionally managed options available in Sasan Gir for the same or even lower price.In summary: Gir Lion Paw Resort is overpriced, unhygienic, and mismanaged. I would strongly advise travelers to consider alternative accommodations in the area for a far better and more comfortable experience.

Unhygenic and very poorly managed property. Only good in pictures. We changed three rooms in our three day trip. Smelly blankets, torn bed sheets. The beds had dust on the bed rest and cobwebs on the walls. Untrained and uncouth staff, they chew tobacco and keep spitting within the premise. The management needs to be trained or changed. Horrible horrible stay.
