Our stay at Gokulam Grand Hotel, Calicut was fantastic, especially due to the warm hospitality and attentive service from the staff. From the moment we arrived, Mehabin made a great impression. The arrival and check-in process felt very premium; he took care of our luggage, guided us inside, and ensured we were comfortably seated. I didn't have to stand at the reception for check-in, as everything was smoothly handled while we sat, with documents brought to me for signature. Our room was prepared quickly, and these small touches made us feel truly cared for from the start. Breakfast was another highlight, with delicious food and a wide variety, including the pleasant surprise of chicken wings at the buffet. What impressed us most was the service when we overslept after a long night and called just before breakfast ended at 10:30 AM. Despite the late notice, the team checked and allowed us to come down. Haridha (if we got the name wrong, please accept our thanks) helped us get everything we wanted before the buffet was cleared, guiding us and arranging our table while the staff prepared for the next service. Their patience and helpfulness at closing time were outstanding. Overall, it was a wonderful stay enhanced by staff who truly understand hospitality. Special thanks to Mehabin, Haridha, and the whole team for making us feel so well looked after. This hotel is also well located for exploring Kozhikode. We highly recommend Gokulam Grand Calicut and would gladly stay again!

The best hotel in Calicut city

My solo stay at Hotel Gokulam Grand in Kozhikode was excellent and truly worthy of its 5-star status. The hotel's location is ideal—very accessible, convenient, and provides a quiet, comfortable haven within the city. From the smooth check-in process to the friendly and professional staff, the hospitality was outstanding, making me feel welcomed and secure throughout my stay. The property is well-kept, with spacious and spotless rooms equipped with high-quality amenities that create a very relaxing atmosphere. A standout feature was the fantastic dining, which included a wide variety of tasty, authentic Malabar dishes along with good international cuisine. Whether visiting alone for business or pleasure, this hotel offers the perfect mix of location, comfort, luxury, and peace of mind.

The lodgings are outstanding, spotless, well-kept, and extremely roomy, offering ample space to relax and unwind. The pool area is immaculate and ideal for a refreshing swim. I was also quite impressed by the gym on site; it has all the equipment necessary to maintain a consistent workout routine while away. The dining experience stood out as a key highlight.

This is among my top favorite hotels ever. The breakfast was superb, and the service was outstanding. A truly enjoyable stay.
