The location is wonderful. It is in mid of tea gardens. If one likes to stay away from crowds, traffic, and just wants to enjoy the nature and trails, this is a wonderful location.We stayed in the Royal rooms. Rooms are big, well-equipped with furniture, etc. Good rooms with comfortable balconies. Nice.Rooms were clean. But overall resort cleanliness can be improved. We needed to remind a couple of times to clean some common areas. Rooms get filled with flies, and it was very uncomfortable at times. I would attribute this to less-than-desired cleanliness. Even when we asked for it, there was no action.Food was pretty average. Very few options for vegetarians, and overly spicy food/gravies even after asking. Pretty average, just workable. Breakfast was good, but the buffet was out of items repeatedly. It felt like lack of resources, staff.Overall few hits and few miss, based on individual preferences.

Had a good time staying at this beautiful maintained resort...it was little bit too far from ooty town but staywise worth it. Food, staff and hospitality top notch
