My stay at Halifax Inn in Bekal was excellent. The room was cozy, spotless, and had a lovely view that added to the relaxation of my visit. What impressed me most was the staff's warm and helpful nature; they gladly suggested good dining spots and local attractions. The location is a major plus—right across from Bekal Fort, with numerous restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore and eat out. All in all, I enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend Halifax Inn to visitors of Bekal. I look forward to staying here again.

After spending two amazing weeks exploring coastal Karnataka on our South India road trip, my husband and I arrived in Bekal to start the Kerala portion of our travels. We couldn't have picked a better spot than Halifax Inn to begin with. Right from check-in, we felt truly welcomed. The property was clean, cozy, and peaceful—just what we needed after several days on the road. The rooms were well kept, the staff friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made it easy to unwind and recharge. A major plus is the location. It's conveniently near Bekal's main sights while still providing a quiet escape from the crowds. Whether you're there for a brief visit or using Bekal as a base to explore North Kerala, Halifax Inn is a great option. Our entire stay was comfortable, making it a perfect introduction to Kerala. The place is nice, clean, the staff Niyaz and other team members all are very courteous. Firoz is very nice and polite man with helping nature.They welcomed us very nicely.There are 5 rooms in this hotel though it is small hotel but it is very clean and rooms are nicely maintained with clean and tidy washrooms as well. Only one addition can be made to provide keyhole on the door.
