Shoolin Palace

My comments are solely about Shoolin Palace, as I haven't been to their other hotels. Shoolin Palace seems more like a venue for ceremonies than a typical hotel or resort. The rooms appear to be designed mainly for guests attending events there. I paid Rs. 2400 for a deluxe room after negotiating a small discount from Rs. 2600, which was only Rs. 100 off for a late check-in around 8 pm. The rooms are cramped, fitting just a cot and wardrobe, leaving little space to move without bumping into something. I chose this hotel because of the pool, which was advertised as open from 10 am to 10 pm, but this wasn't mentioned at booking. Since I had to leave by 11 am, I had to get ready early and couldn't use the pool due to this unexpected restriction. We used two water bottles in the room and asked for more regular water; they sent two bottles but later asked for payment at checkout. Disappointed by the small room and pool timing issues, I refused to pay, and they accepted. The hotel doesn't provide free drinking water, so you must buy bottled water, which feels unreasonable. Overall, this place might work if you just need a spot to stay during an event, but it lacks comfort or a pleasant experience. The outside looks impressive, but the inside doesn't live up to it.

Great atmosphere and delicious dishes.

The Villa is a great spot for a small gathering of about 20 people. The food from the Betta Restaurant was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Thanks to Salman for making everything run smoothly.

There was no buffet breakfast available, which was the only downside. This aspect could be enhanced and introduced. The live counter was also absent. Otherwise, the rooms, hospitality, and service, including the buggy service, were excellent.

Very small room in fact you would feel it like a coffin room
