Hotel Shoolin Comforts

This hotel ranks among the top in Mangalore and overall. The rates are reasonable considering the services offered. We paid 3500 for a room accommodating three people, which included all amenities, extra bedding, and complimentary breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the market, and cleanliness and other aspects are satisfactory. However, since they operate multiple hotels, you might get confused by the name if you don't verify it carefully beforehand.

The rooms were tidy and acceptable, but I thought the price was somewhat high. The staff were polite and supportive, and they allowed me to check in early, which I truly valued. The location is handy—situated at Kavoor Junction, providing easy reach to both Mangalore Central Railway Station and the airport. However, a major problem during our stay was the ongoing drilling and construction noise. It was loud enough to interrupt our sleep and overall comfort. I kindly ask the management to address this and take suitable steps to reduce the disturbance for guests.

Rooms are well maintained. Not suitable if you are travelling with elderly people as you have to take steps carrying your luggage till 1st floor reception where the elevator is available. Also there is no attached restaurant where you can expect room service. Suitable only for stay.

Had a wonderful time at Hotel Shoolin Comfort! The rooms were tidy and cozy, and the location was convenient. The service was okay, though the staff had some trouble communicating, which occasionally caused confusion. The biggest downside was the lack of an on-site restaurant, which would have been very handy. All in all, a positive stay.

The rooms are quite nice, close by, and clean. The hygiene standards are excellent. The service is also commendable. In particular, Mr. Shreyas was very willing and helpful, showing great patience in listening and clearly explaining any questions we had.
