An unforgettable group stay thanks to the outstanding service provided by Mr. Abhijith Rai and his team! We had a fantastic time at Hotel Parivar Residency, where we reserved 18 rooms for our group. Managing accommodations for a large group can be stressful, but the staff managed everything smoothly and professionally. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Abhijith Rai and his team. From the initial planning to check-out, he made sure every room was clean, ready on time, and comfortable for all guests. His attentive approach, prompt responses, and ongoing hospitality were greatly appreciated. Every member of our group praised the attentive service and calm environment. For anyone seeking a reliable and welcoming venue for group stays or big family events, Hotel Parivar Residency is an excellent choice. Terrible hotel with a very bad experience. We had already booked a room, but at the last moment, they told us to wait because our room was given to some unwanted guests for a few hours. Hopefully, you understand how embarrassing this was for us.

I'm a white guy from Sweden who lived here alone for almost three months about a year ago. I didn't have many expectations since it was my first booking after a quick online search upon arriving in India, and I thought I'd probably find another place soon, but I ended up staying for my entire visa duration. First off, I absolutely LOVE the staff—they're amazing, accommodating, helpful, and kind-hearted. They went out of their way to make me feel at home, even with unusual requests at odd times. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Another huge plus is the in-house restaurant on the ground floor, which is fantastic. During my stay, I tried about half the menu, and there were many dishes I didn't get to try, but the food was almost always prepared with care and professionalism. The waiters are wonderful, attentive, and warm. Mr. Lobo, the daily game coach, was fantastic in meeting all my needs and helping me navigate Mangalore's society. He even connected me with local businesses and other contacts. I traveled around Southeast Asia for about a year, and honestly, my time at Parivar was the most memorable and rewarding part of my journey. They felt like family. The beaches near the hotel are just a short walk away and are absolutely pristine, like something out of a fairy tale or an untouched paradise (depending on your idea of "unspoiled"). I'll never forget swimming in the ocean early in the morning and chatting with locals who did the same. Everyone is super friendly, and the food is incredible. There are a few nearby spots where you can hang out with locals and enjoy food and drinks on their terms if you're adventurous and open-minded, creating wonderful memories, at least for a clueless Westerner like me. I never felt scared or threatened in the area, and Mangalore city is just a short, affordable rickshaw ride away. But home is home, and I loved spending time around the local town or village a short walk from the hotel. The nature and surroundings are beautiful.
