Hotel Laxmi Cityside

Had a very unpleasant stay at the hotel with my family. The rooms were unclean and had a bad odor, and they only changed the bed sheets and pillow covers when we asked. The power was deliberately cut off in the middle of the night, leaving no air conditioning or ceiling fan. I had to go to reception to get the power restored. They said they needed to fix something in the key slot after a power outage, but never told us this at check-in. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I wouldn't suggest anyone stay here.

My stay at Laxmi Cityside Hotel was wonderful. The rooms were tidy, roomy, and very cozy. The staff was courteous, friendly, and always willing to assist with a smile. Special appreciation to the manager Adnan sir for his warm welcome and ensuring everything was flawless during our visit. The taxi service provided by the hotel was excellent. The driver was on time, professional, and made our temple tour easy and pleasant. The car was clean and comfortable, which made the trip hassle-free. In summary, it was a fantastic experience with excellent service, warm hospitality, and good value. I strongly recommend Laxmi Cityside Hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable stay with dependable transport. I will surely return.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing, and I would advise others against choosing it. The parking situation was poorly managed, with only three covered spots and no valet service, which led to damage to my car that I feel could have been prevented with better oversight and assistance. The reception and parking staff were consistently unhelpful and lacked professionalism, and the service did not align with what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the rooms were not family-friendly, which made the stay less comfortable. As someone who enjoys good food, I ordered from some of Mangaluru's top local eateries, but the hotel served the meals on paper plates with disposable utensils rather than proper dishes and cutlery, which detracted from the dining experience and was disappointing for a hotel claiming a 3-star rating. Overall, the management, staff, and service were well below expectations, and I will not return or recommend this hotel.
