Das Crown Hotel in Cebu hat mich total überzeugt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Die Lage ist ideal, da alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants ganz nah sind. Der Pool ist schön gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – definitiv empfehlenswert für jeden, der nach Cebu reist. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen!

I have visited this place several times, even before the pandemic. The front desk staff are very welcoming! There are many shops and malls nearby for all your needs, and the rooms are very tidy and clean. Every visit has been a fantastic experience.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing right from the start. I had emailed ahead to request an early check-in but never got a reply. When I arrived at 10:00 AM, I knew early check-in wasn’t guaranteed, yet I ended up waiting nearly four hours in the lobby. At 1:00 PM I asked again if my room was ready, but was told to keep waiting. I was finally allowed to check in at 1:50 PM, just 10 minutes before the official check-in time, with no special consideration even though the hotel was quite empty. The reception staff lacked warmth and hospitality; they performed their duties but rarely smiled or showed interest in making guests feel welcome. Hospitality should go beyond rules and involve empathy, flexibility, and genuine service. A little kindness can make a big difference and encourage guests to return. I hope management improves customer service training. The hotel itself felt old and poorly maintained. Only one elevator was working, which was inconvenient. The pool was dirty and unappealing. The grounds didn’t leave a good impression either. At check-in, I was asked for a ₱1,000 security deposit. The room had no slippers and the towels were old and worn, which was disappointing. Check-out was slow because staff inspected the room before letting me leave, and they still seemed unfriendly and unprofessional. Overall, this was one of my worst hotel experiences. Hospitality isn’t just about rules but about understanding guests and offering excellent service when possible. Rules matter, but so does reasonable flexibility and genuine care. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my stay.
