Absolutely horrible experience at Ankur Hotel, Diu. The staff was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Instead of resolving issues calmly and professionally, they behaved aggressively and created an uncomfortable environment.What was most shocking was that the staff manager also became involved in the confrontation. During the incident, I felt threatened and intimidated by the behavior of both the staff and management. Rather than addressing a customer's concerns respectfully, the situation escalated in a way that made me fear for my safety.I also had a similarly disappointing experience associated with Hemal Garden Restaurant. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise visitors to be cautious before choosing these places. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, professionalism, and courtesy, not hostility and intimidation.Management should take immediate action to improve staff conduct and customer handling. This was one of the most disturbing and disappointing experiences I have had in Diu, and I would not recommend these establishments based on my experience.

Our stay was at near Bus stand hotel... Front desk staff behaviour is good, Room service is poor. Bar and restaurant food is good. One big issue in hotel room was AC water leakage... We complain but no response

Staying here turned out to be a very disappointing experience.First, the location and access are inconvenient. You have to go through narrow lanes to reach the hotel, which becomes stressful if you have a car. Parking is not inside the hotel’there is a separate open plot in front where vehicles are parked, which is not very convenient.The room condition did not justify the price at all. It felt like an old room that had been lightly renovated. Several listed amenities were either missing or not working:The fridge was not workingThe electric kettle was not functioningThe TV had no active setup box rechargeThe AC was old and leaking water into the roomEven after informing the staff multiple times, the issue was never properly fixed, and the water kept leaking the whole night.Service was extremely slow. Something that should take one call often required multiple reminders. Food quality was also poor’the dal tasted bland, as if a simple tadka was added on top without proper preparation.Another misleading point was the ’garden view balcony’ that was promised. In reality, there was no garden view at all.Basic toiletries were also missing’no toothbrush or toothpaste, and the bathroom facilities were very basic. Reception staff behavior was also not very helpful.Considering the price charged, the experience was far below expectations. Not recommended unless major improvements are made.
