Staying here turned out to be a very disappointing experience.First, the location and access are inconvenient. You have to go through narrow lanes to reach the hotel, which becomes stressful if you have a car. Parking is not inside the hotel’there is a separate open plot in front where vehicles are parked, which is not very convenient.The room condition did not justify the price at all. It felt like an old room that had been lightly renovated. Several listed amenities were either missing or not working:The fridge was not workingThe electric kettle was not functioningThe TV had no active setup box rechargeThe AC was old and leaking water into the roomEven after informing the staff multiple times, the issue was never properly fixed, and the water kept leaking the whole night.Service was extremely slow. Something that should take one call often required multiple reminders. Food quality was also poor’the dal tasted bland, as if a simple tadka was added on top without proper preparation.Another misleading point was the ’garden view balcony’ that was promised. In reality, there was no garden view at all.Basic toiletries were also missing’no toothbrush or toothpaste, and the bathroom facilities were very basic. Reception staff behavior was also not very helpful.Considering the price charged, the experience was far below expectations. Not recommended unless major improvements are made.

Hotel Ankur provides a pleasant overall experience, especially when it comes to dining. The restaurant and bar service was good, and the staff was polite, responsive, and attentive. The food was delicious, and it was nice to see that the staff is open to accepting personalized food requests whenever possible, which adds a thoughtful touch to the service.The garden restaurant and bar is a good idea and has a relaxing setup, but there was a slight smell at times due to the toilet located in front of this area. With better ventilation or improved placement, this space could become much more enjoyable.Overall, Hotel Ankur stands out for its good food, cooperative staff, and quality service. With minor improvements in the garden dining area, the experience could be even better for guests.

We had a very comfortable stay here. Service was good, rooms were clean. The receptionist Ms. Mahi was helpful with a lot of details. On the whole, true value for money. Would highly recommend.
