Kamnath Zinc Journey by The Fern, Diu

Fantastic location as it's right at Nagoa Beach. Food quality is good but slightly on costlier side. Liquor prices are too high for UT.

* ’ Decent stay but comfort issues need fixing*We stayed one night at Kamnath Resort by Fern in Diu. The staff was friendly and helpful, which was the highlight of our stay.However, there were a few issues that affected comfort:- It was very hot during the day and the AC in the room wasn’t working properly.- The water had a salty taste.- On-site amenities are limited ’ they’re available at their other resort nearby, but it’s a bit far to walk.- The cottages are made with fabric/cloth walls, so you can hear conversations from neighboring rooms clearly.- Food was okay in taste but portions were small for the price.Overall, the location and staff are good, but the AC, water, and privacy issues need attention. With those fixed, it could easily be a 4-star property.Would consider going back if these are improved.

The rooms are nice particularly beyond room number 304. The downsides are a common toilet near 302, not sure why do they keep the doors always open and air sometimes smells bad.The service is exceptional. Particularly, Paret, Pradeep and there was a girl who were very helpful in the restaurant. It was a pleasnt stay.

The location and view from the hotel were really good and were among the few positive aspects of our stay.However, overall our experience at the hotel was not satisfactory.Firstly, at the time of check-in, the hotel staff demanded full payment in advance. We have stayed at many 5-star hotels before, and such a practice has never been followed.Secondly, complimentary chocolates were provided to another room, but nothing was offered in our room, which felt disappointing.Despite repeatedly requesting, basic items such as coffee mugs and water glasses were not provided in the room. Since we were travelling with our 3-year-old child, these essentials were genuinely required.We were also disappointed to find an old used bath towel in the bathroom, apparently left behind by the previous guest. In addition, there was significant dust under the bed, and the AC was not functioning properly. And basic fan is also not available in the tent.Lastly, during checkout, the staff indirectly implied that we had hidden or taken a glass from the room, which was extremely unprofessional and insulting.Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and the level of hospitality did not meet our expectations.

Had a really pleasant experience during the stay at the Fern. The food was fresh with a nice variety, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. A special thanks to Hina Pradeep Paresh for their warm and attentive service’they made sure everything was taken care of so smoothly. Overall, it felt like one of the best family-friendly, sea-facing resorts with great staff and excellent service in every way in Diu. Would highly recommend.’
