The worst experience

The place is just mess its not at all worth it everything is dusty and it is just not worth your time and money 1. Beds are old and have worn out bedsheets we know it as we changed 2 rooms and all had same problem 2. No cleanliness at all everything was covered in dust, they said its because renovation but never mentioned renovation when we booked it 3. Bathroom lacked basic cleanliness tissue from previous checkin was still present in dustbin 4. Food was Meh at best

One of the best hotels in the world with exceptional ambiance, hospitality, service and views of the Taj. I celebrated my birthday here and would not have done it anywhere else. The smallest details in the room, restaurant and hotel are impeccable. Thanks to Rohit and his team for the outstanding quality of service and hospitality.

I have been to numerous hotels but this one beats all of them in service. The service is beyond excellence. All the staff members treat you like a royal. They notice what you want or need sometimes even before you yourself know. From the moment they welcome you (and what a welcome thay was!) till you leave, you will be taken care off in the most superb way. The view from the rooms is stunning, the food is fine, the rooms spacious and with all the amenities you can think of.

No request was ever too big or too small.Dining ExperienceA special mention also goes to the incredible restaurant team. As this was our very first visit to India, I was a little apprehensive because I don’t eat spicy or hot chilli food. I needn’t have worried. The restaurant staff went far beyond our expectations, taking the time to patiently explain every dish on the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and happily adapting meals to suit my preferences without ever making me feel like it was an inconvenience. Their knowledge, warmth, and genuine desire to ensure we enjoyed every meal made dining at the hotel an experience in itself. Every breakfast and dinner was exceptional, and we looked forward to each meal knowing we would be looked after so well.Taj Mahal TourOne of the absolute highlights of our visit was, of course, the Taj Mahal. The hotel arranged a private guided tour with Mr. Kishore, and we simply couldn’t have asked for a better guide. His knowledge, passion, professionalism, and ability to bring the history of the Taj Mahal to life were exceptional. He shared fascinating insights that transformed what could have been just a visit into a truly unforgettable experience.Mr. Kishore also turned out to be an outstanding photographer. He knew all the best locations and angles and helped us capture some incredible photographs that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. Even though the heavens opened and we got absolutely soaked by the rain, his enthusiasm never faded, and he ensured we still had an amazing time. Those memories, and the beautiful photos, will stay with us forever.Local ExplorationAfterwards, we explored the back streets of Agra, did a little shopping, and discovered some fantastic handmade shoes. It was an eye-opening experience that gave us a wonderful glimpse into the local culture.Final VerdictIf you’re visiting Agra, do yourself a favour and stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas. Yes, it’s one of the more luxurious hotels in the city, but it is worth every single penny.
