Hotel Brahmaputhra

Our stay at Hotel Brahmaputhra was very disappointing. We arrived at Room 201 around 7:00 PM on May 31, 2026, but the room was overwhelmed by a strong sewage/toilet odor, reminiscent of the smell in an Indian Railways general compartment toilet. The stench was so bad that staying in the room was impossible. Although we had checked in, we ended up leaving the hotel by 10:30 PM and spent the night at the Guruvayur Temple grounds while waiting for the Nirmalya Darshan at 3:00 AM, which was actually more comfortable with fresh air. The condition of the hotel room was unacceptable, and basic cleanliness standards were clearly neglected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great value for the price. The rooms are tidy, cozy, and ideal for families. It's situated only a brief walk from Guruvayur Sreekrishna Temple, making it very convenient for worshippers. The staff was polite and the overall experience was enjoyable. Strongly suggested for those seeking a budget-friendly, well-kept hotel near the temple. A perfect option for families watching their expenses.
