Hotel De Grand

I checked into the hotel last night hoping for a restful stay, but was quickly disappointed by the lack of basic service. Despite repeated calls, the staff never responded to my room’service request, and when I finally managed to speak with someone at the front desk, they offered no apology or solution. To make matters worse, several advertised amenities’such as the complimentary Wi’Fi, gym access, and in’room coffee maker’were nowhere to be found. Overall, the unhelpful staff and missing facilities turned what should have been a simple overnight stay into a frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Last night staying in the hotel and very bad hospitality, very bad rooms and bad facilities and services also not good in the hotel.

Worst service ever!How the management could be this careless.Even there is no housekeeping to clean the rooms and not even changing the towels and providing the toiletries.Why there is no water availability in the washroom at night... I don't understand. They are not even concerned even if we raise a quest.All of the above, bar by the side...

We booked a room here for 4 days. But they didn’t clean the room even once during our entire stay. Even after informing the staff multiple times, no action was taken. If you prioritize spotless rooms, genuinely warm service, and outstanding value, this is the place to book.The standout feature of this hotel is its staff. From the moment I checked in, the team, particularly the front desk staff was incredibly attentive and proactive. Their effort made me feel like I was staying at a much higher-rated hotel. They are the heart of this operation.De Grand proves that you don't need five stars to have an excellent hotel experience. It provides fantastic value for money, combining immaculate cleanliness with genuine, top-tier hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers and will certainly be staying here again on my next visit to Calicut city.
