Hotel De Grand

I had an excellent experience at Hotel DeGrand Malabar. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well maintained. The ambience of the hotel was pleasant and relaxing, making the stay very comfortable.The restaurant served delicious food with excellent quality and taste. The bar had a great atmosphere, good music, and a wonderful selection of drinks. The staff in every department were friendly, professional, and very attentive.A special appreciation to the General Manager for the outstanding hospitality and the way the entire team takes care of guests. Their service truly made the experience memorable.Overall, everything was superb ’ rooms, restaurant, bar, cleanliness, hospitality, and customer service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kozhikode. I would definitely love to stay here again

I had a very bad experience today when I went to D Grand in Kozhikode. I ordered two beers from there. While pouring one of the beers into the glass, I noticed a fly in it. I’m not sure whether it came from the glass or the bottle, but it was very unpleasant. It made me feel really disappointed. So please be careful before visiting such places. I had a very bad experience there.’ Shame on you team D Grand

I was in this hotel from 1st to 5th April 2026. Location is very good. The hotel is pretty old. Some of the rooms are renovated. I found some small cockroach in the bathroom . Immediately I informed Rajesh hk the waiter there. He is so good and his service is so prompt, he brought a cockroach hit for me. You book the hotel and ask for any help he will be there with the solution. In March - April 2026 when Rajesh was there in Hotel Springway he was fabulous. Any one can book Hotel De Grand I am sure as long as Rajesh will be there you are sure to get very good service. I give him 10 on 10.

Spent one night at this place, it has the potential to operate as a great hotel but unfortunately the overall management is very poor.The entry itself reeks of garbage as it's next to a drainage & the smell is all around the hotel. The elevator smelled like piss, clearly someone has urinated inside & they didn't even do a proper cleaning.The toilet had a sanitised tag but it wasn't cleaned, I could see dried urine droplets. My room had window curtains but no windows, when you open the drapes, all you see is the wall.The breakfast options were disappointing, all it had was puttu, poori & 2 curries with a small bowl of cut fruits, no tissues, no small plates. There should be at least 2 more options & western cuisine.My room's door lock was broken, even the key kept getting stuck, the floor was sticky.Overall, not worth the money, poor service provided for the price paid, poor management & attention to details, 2* for cleanliness.

The stay was incredibly comfortable; the rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided the perfect environment to relax. What really stood out, however, was the breakfast. They offer a fantastic spread with plenty of delicious options that made for the perfect start to the day.The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made sure everything was handled smoothly. If you're looking for a reliable and pleasant place to stay with great food, I highly recommend this hotel!
