I enjoyed a pleasant one-night business stay at Hotel Heeraa International in Mangalore. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and well kept, which made my stay very comfortable. The staff were courteous, welcoming, and always willing to assist. Since I booked through Agoda, the check-in was hassle-free, and the hotel's location is convenient for traveling around the city, being close to Mangalore Junction Railway Station. Overall, this hotel provides excellent value and I would gladly recommend it to visitors of Mangalore and stay here again myself.

I recently reserved a Premium Room via Agoda, anticipating a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay. The room description, photos, and premium price led me to expect high cleanliness standards, spacious accommodations, and quality service. Sadly, my experience was quite the opposite and among the most disappointing hotel stays I've had. Upon entering, a strong damp and musty odor was immediately noticeable, suggesting poor ventilation or moisture issues. The room felt unpleasant despite airing it out. The bed linens and pillow covers were in poor shape—old, faded, rough sheets and worn pillow covers that didn't seem freshly cleaned. For a premium room, I expected pristine white linens and soft bedding, but instead, the bedding looked neglected. Cleanliness is crucial when selecting a hotel, and this property's housekeeping fell far short. The bedding felt unhygienic, and the room lacked the cleanliness expected at this level. The room size was another letdown; despite spacious photos on Agoda, the actual room was much smaller and cramped, not matching the online images. Furniture and furnishings appeared outdated and poorly maintained, detracting from any premium feel. The bathroom also failed to meet expectations, with disappointing cleanliness and a lack of freshness. The hotel needs to improve housekeeping, replace old mattresses, linens, towels, and fix ventilation to remove damp odors. Quality bedding is vital for guest comfort, and worn linens harm the hotel's hygiene reputation. I chose this hotel based on Agoda's positive presentation and expected value for the price paid, but the room quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort did not justify the premium cost. Online photos should accurately reflect the rooms offered. Guest satisfaction relies on honesty, cleanliness, comfort, and quality service, all of which were lacking during my stay. A premium room should offer fresh air, spotless bedding, comfortable pillows, ample space, and professional housekeeping—none of which were delivered. I hope management takes feedback seriously and enhances housekeeping, replaces old linens, upgrades maintenance, addresses moisture issues, and ensures every premium room meets the advertised quality. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to those seeking a clean, hygienic, and comfortable premium stay. Many other hotels offer better value, superior housekeeping, cleaner rooms, and a more pleasant experience.
