Hotel King Castle

Rooms are good but washroom s are bad. They smell so bad that we have to literally take roomfreshners and spray it after every ongoing. The kettle literally smells so bad. But the staff is caring . The food is scrumptious and the food is always served hot and fresh . I really loved the food.

Please do not visit here we are facing major issues related to water as many of the guest are going to check out today but no response from there side they told that water is not coming in all the rooms they told wait 10 min after that water will come we are waiting from last 1 hours for that 10 min’..The water given from there side is very dirty we can’t even wash the face from that waterTeam king castle please take the situation very seriously

Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing ’ you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful.The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect.Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start.Overall, a simple, peaceful stay with great views and good food.

The hotel is very good, they gave us early check in. We came by 6 a.m but they assigned us room and we were very happy with the location. It was in mid of dharmshala and mcleodganj, which is best for staying. We could easily visit all the famous places by walking. They even gave us late checkout and kept our luggage since our bus was at late evening. It’s a must recommended if you want to visit dharmshala.
