WelcomHeritage Natraj, Mcleod Ganj

We spent three wonderful days at WelcomHeritage Natraj, McLeod Ganj, staying in a Premium Room with Balcony, and our experience was outstanding. The location is very convenient, with amenities and the Dalai Lama Temple just a short walk away. The hotel combines elegance and luxury with a warm, peaceful, and very comfortable atmosphere. Our Premium Room with Balcony was a standout feature, offering stunning panoramic views of the valley and mountains—an unbeatable way to begin and end each day. The service was excellent, with a team that was attentive, kind, and truly responsive to our needs, making us feel well cared for throughout our stay. Dining was also pleasant, with tasty food and attentive staff. The entire property was clean, comfortable, and well kept, providing a lovely sense of subtle luxury and calm. This beautiful hotel, with its unforgettable views and sincere hospitality, is a place we would gladly return to and highly recommend for anyone seeking an elegant and memorable stay in McLeod Ganj.

The staff were incredibly kind beyond words. The food was delicious, the rooms and bedding were spotless, and the front desk staff were very courteous. Everything was fantastic. Despite the manager Mr. Jamwal being ill and on leave, he still answered my call and ensured my stay was well taken care of. I look forward to visiting often and using their services. The stay was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and well-kept, and the breakfast was enjoyable. However, two issues greatly affected our overall view of the hotel. First, the EV charger in the guest parking is a problem. When a public vehicle needs to charge, hotel staff move guests' cars to make space, which is unacceptable. There should be a separate area for public charging or the hotel should ensure guests' vehicles are not disturbed. Second, and most importantly, there was a serious privacy and safety issue. We stayed for two days, and despite the housekeeping sign being set to OFF, the staff entered our room to clean after the first day. We had valuables like wallets, jewelry, and personal items openly in the room, so this made us feel very uneasy and unsafe. When we spoke to the housekeeping manager, we were told that daily cleaning is their policy and that staff are trustworthy, but the problem is about privacy and consent, not theft. Guests should be able to decide if they want their room cleaned, especially when the sign is off. No one expects housekeeping to enter uninvited and move personal belongings. This was especially disappointing from a WelcomHeritage hotel. In summary, while the stay, rooms, and food were good, the way guest parking and privacy were handled was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience. If you do stay here, be cautious about your belongings and privacy.

Our week-long stay was fantastic and truly unforgettable. The stunning views from my room stood out, and having two balconies added to the experience. Fresh fruits were provided every day, and the staff attentively managed dietary needs. The restaurant offered tasty meals during my entire visit, making dining enjoyable. Special thanks to Pardeep, our driver, who was outstanding and guaranteed safe and comfortable transportation throughout the journey. In summary, it was a calm, cozy, and memorable stay.
