Location of the hotel is really bad, you have to stop your car 300 meters before you reach the hotel. A lot of things were not working in the room like heated bathroom seat, bathtub functions etc. Even the bathroom door wasn’t closing.
I’m sharing my honest opinion because I feel future guests should know about this before bookingThe property was in an okay location. It was a decent property, but there was nothing particularly extraordinary about it. The biggest issue for us was reaching the property.We had booked a self drive car, and only about two days before our arrival, we started receiving messages from the property asking us to call them before reaching. That was when they explained how difficult the road to the property was. By that point, we had already paid for our stay and had very limited options.The road is in very bad condition, and a regular car cannot reach the property.We were advised to leave our car at the main square parking area, which was around 5 km away, and then take another local vehicle that could manage the road. Alternatively, they said they could arrange a driver for us if we could bring our car a little further up to their parking area.The property does arrange a driver to pick up and drop guests between the parking area and the property, which is helpful. However, you have to depend on this arrangement every time you want to go up or come down. You can technically walk up, as it is only around 300 metres, but the road is very steep, poorly lit and in very bad condition, so this would be quite difficult, especially for families with children or elderly guests. The driver arranged by the property was available only until around 8 PM, which meant we had to plan our entire day around that timing and make sure we were back by 8 PM. We couldn’t simply decide to stay out longer and come back whenever we wanted. At times, it honestly felt more like staying in a hostel with strict timings rather than being on a holiday where you have the freedom to come and go as you please.We also had an issue with the driver arranged by the property for sightseeing. We were told the driver would come at 9 AM, but we waited until 11:45AM and he still hadn’t arrived, We eventually had to arrange another driver , which delayed our plans for the day.I understand that this is a mountain property and that difficult roads can be part of the location.That is not the problem. My concern is that such an important detail should have been clearly communicated before booking, and not just two days before arrival when the stay was already paid for.If we had known about the road conditions, the need for a local 4×4 driver, the additional transportation costs and the fixed transportation timing, we would have planned differently or possibly chosen another property.The property was decent, but I would strongly recommend that future guests clarify the road conditions, transportation arrangements, timings and additional costs before booking. It would have saved us a lot of inconvenience and unexpected expense.
Jst the to the hotel is very risky so go with the taxi...rest is awesome
