Alivaa Hotel McLeodganj – Best Dhauladhar View - Infinity Pool & Sky Garden

The view of the snow capped mountains was totally worth it. All rooms have same view and the property offers good privacy as the rooms face a valley. The room was spacious and adequately furnished. Food was decent. And the TV had all channels. Staff was polite and helpful.Few things that can be worked on -Hand towel kept in the bathroom was not clean and had had yellow stains and we didn't use the other towels as well because of the doubt on the cleanliness. Staff needs to be more careful of the check-in experience. Anti-skid mat and a spare towel for the wet floor need to be provided in the bathrooms as the shower area is separated from the rest of the bathroom by only a shower curtain.The pool needs to be kept clean or covered. We couldn't use that because it was a bit dirty, though understoos as it is open.

The food quality was good, although quantity was very less compared to prices. Room sizes felt cramped & hot water was unreliable. We had booked this hotel hoping to get best experience in terms of mountain view from room balconies, room sizes, cleanliness & facilities. But, on the contrary, view was suboptimal, rooms were not cleaned properly even after raising the issue, faced hot water issue for entire stay, room sizes were small. Overall, very disappointed with this stay. The experience wasn't even worth the half of the price we paid for the rooms.
