Hyatt Regency Dharmshala Resort

Wonderful spot offering outstanding hospitality. The rooms are large, cozy, and kept in great condition. Its location is handy and enhances the entire experience. The staff, chefs, and Food & Beverage team were all very polite and attentive during our visit. Strongly recommended!

Terrible experience, no child safety measures anywhere. Staff are careless. Activities are limited by time. No sightseeing available. 👎👎👎

We stayed at this hotel and found the service to be flawless. The staff were very welcoming and kind, always doing their best to meet our needs. A special thanks to Mr. Lokesh at the reception for ensuring a seamless stay, as well as Mr. Vineet and Mr. Arjun from the restaurant for their outstanding food service and fantastic mocktails at the bar. I strongly suggest staying here when visiting Dharamshala, as the resort provides stunning views. Grateful for the great experience!

Hyatt charges a high price but delivers service that doesn't meet expectations. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and the property is well kept, which made a good first impression. Sadly, that was the only good part of my stay, as the overall experience was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested in helping guests and often lacked basic politeness and professionalism. Service was slow and unhelpful, making the stay more frustrating than pleasant. Particularly, the restaurant staff were rude; they shouldn't ask for room numbers while guests are already seated and eating. With improved customer service and a friendlier approach from the staff, this hotel could provide a much better experience. After staying here, we went to the Grand View Hotel in Dalhousie for two nights. Though not a luxury chain, the staff there were more attentive, service was excellent, and everyone smiled. Hyatt could consider sending their staff to Grand View for training; it's nearby and they could learn a lot from them.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming, but it's disappointing that the view from a room costing over $200 is not great, especially given the property's location. I hope this issue is addressed soon. Additionally, the outdoor facilities could use some enhancements, such as adding comfortable benches and seating. The spa offers good value for the price—I appreciated the traditional Tibetan massage as well as the pool and sauna.
