Dharamkot Outlook

I stayed with my family for 10 days but left 3 days early because there was no food service available. The location is quite isolated and not suitable for families. If you are traveling with family and elderly members, I would not recommend it. Dharmkot is not ideal for families or older people to stay for 5 to 7 days. Also, it is quite far from Dharamshala, so don't be misled into thinking it is in Dharamshala. It is about 8 to 10 km above Dharamshala, taking around 30 minutes and costing 400 to 500 INR one way. The driver provided by the hotel, Mr. Ajay Kumar, was very polite and I recommend using his taxi service even if you stay elsewhere in Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj. There is one good restaurant in Dharmkot called Himalayan Crown; their luxury rooms are nice but a bit pricey. I had my breakfast, lunch, and dinner there since the hotel did not provide food. The cafe culture there is not suitable for families. My final advice is to stay in proper Dharamshala for more convenience if you are with family.

I keep returning! Planning to come back within the next 12 to 18 months...!!!

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel offers stunning views, a serene and lovely environment, and everything was impeccably kept. The service was outstanding — the warm hospitality really enhanced the experience. The location is easy to reach by road and features a large parking lot. The rooms were tidy, comfortable, and inviting, creating the ideal atmosphere for a restful retreat. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking beautiful scenery, excellent service, wonderful hospitality, and a tranquil stay. ❤️✨

I had a truly wonderful time at Dharamkot Outlook! Situated in the tranquil hills of Dharamkot, the location offers breathtaking mountain views and a serene environment. The accommodation was very comfortable, spotless, and well cared for. The owner and staff were extremely kind, supportive, and cooperative, which enhanced the whole experience. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The spot is also very convenient — Dharamkot Market is only about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to check out local cafés, shops, and the area. Bhagsu is also nearby, so it’s an excellent base for exploring. What I appreciated most was the peaceful setting, lovely views, and the ideal mix of being near everything yet in a quiet, relaxing place. I would definitely suggest Dharamkot Outlook to anyone coming to Dharamkot. It was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly stay here again!
