If you want a hotel where customer service seems optional, Hotel Bella Heights fits perfectly. The staff and management have perfected making guests feel unwelcome. The manager/owner's rudeness was so notable it overshadowed everything else about the stay. Hospitality should make guests feel comfortable, but here it felt like we were a bother just by being there. Problems were met with attitude instead of professionalism, and basic politeness was rare. The rooms might be forgettable, but the disrespect and poor behavior are unforgettable. I paid for a stay, but it seems politeness costs extra. I wouldn't recommend or return. Very disappointing experience. Always in a high mood because of the location advantage, but in the evening, insects were found in the tea snacks, and the rooms smelled due to wall seepage.

The hotel was clean, which was the only good part of my visit. Sadly, the manager was very arrogant and unprofessional, making guests feel unwelcome instead of appreciated. The food quality was bad, and breakfast was particularly unsatisfactory. The breakfast service seemed lacking, with very few choices and little concern for guest happiness. It often seemed like guests had to ask desperately for decent food. In summary, despite the acceptable cleanliness, the poor attitude of management and low-quality food spoiled the whole stay. I wouldn't suggest this hotel or stay here again.

I've seen better customer service from people having a consistently bad day. The buffet was an experience in itself. “Weird” is the kindest word I can use. Requesting basic add-ons felt like negotiating a hostage situation—firm no, no explanation, just attitude. Mcleodganj is beautiful, but this hotel ensures you spend more time outside than inside for your own peace of mind.

The essentials were managed well. The stay met my expectations. In general, everything was handled appropriately. I stayed here for a conference, and it felt like a genuine break. The location was easy to locate.
