Food is perfect. I had a tomato kaju curry (perfectly balanced spices). It was amazing. Welcomed by Anusha. Overall it was a great experience.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Hotel Ocean Vista Bay, where the atmosphere perfectly blends coastal elegance with a cozy, modern feel. The restaurant's ambience is clean and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed yet upscale meal by the beach. A special mention goes to our server, Rajesh, whose attentive and professional service truly elevated our evening; he made sure every detail was taken care of with a genuine smile. Between the beautiful setting and the top-tier hospitality, it’s a place I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and a pleasant stay in Vizag.

The Hotel was very good with humble staffs. The location is also very prime. Not far from beach and not so close so you can avoid the beach crowd. Only thing I did not like was they provided me a double bed room where as I requested for a king size bed. Otherwise the hotel is a must visit for family or for couples.

I recently stayed at Ocean Vista Bay, and it was a textbook case of "bait and switch." I booked an Ocean Executive room, but the experience was a series of disappointments from start to finish.’The Main Issues:’The "View" Scam: I paid a premium for an ocean view, but as my photo shows, the window looked directly into a construction site with tattered green netting and debris.’Failed Service Recovery: When I complained about the view and the room category, the staff simply shifted me to a "similar" room that had the exact same issues. There was no attempt to actually provide the category I paid for.’Dilapidated Amenities: The room was in a state of neglect’torn towels, non-functional lights, and a broken fan regulator. The TV was not showing even free-to-air channels only.’Unreasonable Dining: They prohibit outside food while charging ’800 for a meager portion of Dal Fry and Rice. It is a total "captive audience" pricing strategy with no quality to back it up.’Poor Design: The bathroom is so cramped that you cannot stand in the shower without hitting the soap tray. Even basic toiletries weren't provided until I asked multiple times.’Final Verdict: This hotel is poorly maintained, uses misleading room descriptions, and has a staff that offers "solutions" that change nothing. Do not waste your money here; there are far better options that actually value their guests.

Hotel Ocean Vista Bay has a good atmosphere and the rooms are decent. The location is convenient as it is on the main road and easily accessible. However, the service and management need major improvements.The hotel does not provide sufficient toiletries or basic amenities like coffee/tea/sugar packets and even towels. We had to request these items every time, which is frustrating considering they charge for all guests.Early check-in is not allowed unless you pay extra per hour, which feels unreasonable’especially for guests arriving after long journeys who need rest.Housekeeping is another issue. We had to ask daily for cleaning and submit the room key, yet the room was not cleaned until late evening, and only after repeated follow-ups.Overall, the experience does not justify the charges. Better service, timely housekeeping, and fair policies are essential for this hotel to meet expectations.
