Hotel Rajdhani (Close to Charminar)

Overall experience was upto the markHotel manager Mr Bajpai sir was very friendly and helpfulRoom was neat and cleanBreakfast was excellentOnly cons hotel is quite old and their receptionist I guess Pankaj young guy was very rude and rough talking person

I stayed at the hotel with my family for two days, from 31 December 2025 to 2 January 2026 in rooms number 101. Overall, the stay was below average. The rooms appeared clean during the daytime; however, once the lights were switched off at night, cockroaches started appearing everywhere’on the bed, floor, table, chairs, and walls. Due to this, we were forced to sleep with the lights on throughout the night. Despite killing around 15 cockroaches per day, the issue persisted. This is a serious hygiene concern, and the hotel management needs to address it urgently through proper pest control measures. The most disturbing incident occurred on 1 January 2026, when we found a cockroach in the dosa served to us, which was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable.Parking is available only on the roadside. Unfortunately, our car was repeatedly soiled by pigeon/dove droppings. As I usually request car cleaning before checkout and have done so at many hotels without any issues, I asked the security staff here to clean the car as it my cars windshield was covered by droppings and have to travel back to Chennai. However, the staff member lacked basic knowledge of handling a water hose and dragged it across the car bonnet, causing deep scratches on one side. I paid ’200 for the cleaning, but the damage caused will require repainting at a cost of over ’10,000.(Mr. Rai, please refer to the CCTV footage from 1 January between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM .)On a positive note, Mr. Rai (Manager) and the hotel staff were friendly and polite. The reception staff on 31 December were especially helpful in arranging an auto to visit nearby doctor, when my son was suffering from a stomach ache, for which we are truly grateful.ProsFriendly and supportive staffRooms appear clean during the day (pest control is urgently required)ConsSevere cockroach/pest issuePoor parking arrangement and untrained staff handling car cleaning

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rajdhani Hyderabad! The breakfast was delightful, with a variety of delicious options to kickstart the day. The staff's behavior was exceptional’always courteous and ready to assist. The location is perfect, situated in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore Hyderabad's major attractions. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel's amenities were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.A special shoutout to Mr. Rao, whose guidance on transportation made my Hyderabad city tour and Srisailam trip seamless and enjoyable. His local insights and recommendations were invaluable.I highly recommend Hotel Rajdhani for anyone visiting Hyderabad!

Location: The hotel is located in the old city and convenient to travel to many of the tourist attractions. There are not many restaurants within walking distance though.Rooms: The rooms seem to have been recently renovated and as such were in good condition, neat and clean. The entire hotel though has a bad case of cockroach infestation. When you return to the rooms in the evening, you are greeted by so many roaches everywhere.Hot water is mythical - it supposedly exists, but we were never lucky to experience it. We managed to get some luke warm water one of the mornings, but managed with cold water otherwise. When we enquired about hot water one evening, we were offered a bucket of hot water via room service that we politely declined.Service: The room service was attentive and so were the janitorial ladies. The front desk though was a huge disappointment. Mr Koteshwar Rao comes across as a warden from some college hostel whose cat you accidentally killed.Overall the hands of the staff are tied and you can expect no deviation from set rules, which doesn't make for good customer service. For example, they offer complimentary breakfast only starting 8AM. Since we had to leave early morning for Ramoji, we requested for at least basic toast in the morning at 7:30AM. Despite them offering toast as part of the room service menu, they declined to substitute it for complimentary breakfast. Not only would they not accommodate something for early breakfast, they expected us to pay Rs 285 for 3 plates of toast! The complimentary breakfast is a disaster anyway. On the last day we discovered the entire breakfast counter infested with cockroaches! Toaster, wicker baskets, juice jars are all cockroach nests! In any other country this place would have long been shutdown for hygiene reasons. The restaurant is not good either. We only had a plate of supposedly "Dum biryani" one evening. It was just colored basmati rice for an exorbitant price. If we had experienced the roach infestation earlier, we wouldn't have eaten there anyways.I believe this place has potential if the management is willing to close shutters for a couple weeks, get the entire place thoroughly pest controlled and give the staff some leeway to handle basic customer requests.

A perfect hotel to stay in Hyderabad for visitors. All staff and managers are very kind and helpful. Service is great
