The receptionist spoke in a rude manner.

I had a disappointing stay. The room was poorly maintained with visible burn/scorch marks on the walls, suggesting prior fire damage. The bathroom was unclean - the toilet was not properly cleaned and the ceiling had dust/grime buildup. To top it off, there was a power cut in the morning and the hotel had no backup power. The electricity only came back after we checked out.
