After days of vibrant chaos, color, and constant movement across India, arriving at Ikaki Niwas in Jaipur felt like exhaling for the first time in a while.My group was in need of a genuine pause ’ somewhere comfortable, calm, and convenient ’ and Ikaki Niwas delivered far beyond our expectations. Tucked away from the noise yet perfectly located for exploring the Pink City, it struck that rare balance between accessibility and tranquility. After long days touring forts, bazaars, and palaces, it was such a relief to return to a place that felt more like a home than a hotel.What truly set it apart, though, is the heart behind it. The lovely couple who own and run the property are present in the most thoughtful way ’ never intrusive, but always ensuring that every guest is comfortable and cared for. They checked in on us personally, made sure our plans were running smoothly, and created an atmosphere that felt warm and deeply genuine.Their staff is equally wonderful. The cook prepared beautiful, nourishing meals each day ’ and when one member of our group was under the weather, they went above and beyond. Fresh, comforting soups were prepared specially, light meals were thoughtfully arranged, and everyone made sure she was resting comfortably. It’s rare to see such instinctive, attentive care.Naveen was always ready with a smile and quick assistance whenever we needed anything. The manager - Akram ensured everything ran seamlessly, from room arrangements to transport coordination. And Bhavani Singh ji carried himself with such kindness and quiet efficiency ’ always checking in, always making sure we were at ease. Together, they created an environment where nothing felt like too much trouble.The rooms were consistently spotless, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable ’ perfect for recovery after long sightseeing days.When traveling through a country as exhilarating as India, finding a place where you can truly rest and reset is invaluable. Ikaki Niwas was that sanctuary for me and my group .I cannot recommend their warmth and care highly enough. If you’re visiting Jaipur and want somewhere that feels like being looked after by extended family, this is it.

An overall wonderful experience at IKAKI. We stayed at the hotel for three nights, our first time to India, and Akram and his team went above and beyond to take good care of us. This meant welcoming us at 4am due to late arrival, organizing a driver from the airport, serving us late breakfast after our early morning arrival and much-needed sleep, etc etc. Also, we can highly recommend the food cooked freshly at the hotel! Overall we experienced such a warm and friendly atmosphere at IKAKI. Never had that at any of the big chain hotels. Thank you! Many cheers from the Netherlands!

It’s an excellent option for inbound clients who are looking for an authentic homestay experience. The swimming pool is quite small, but the breakfast served is tasty and satisfying. Overall, a charming place for travelers who value comfort and cultural connection.

I had a pleasant stay at Ikaki Niwas. The accommodation is well-located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being conveniently positioned for exploring the area. The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The food was ok’nothing particularly special, but satisfying, with a traditional Indian style that adds to the local experience.Overall, Ikaki Niwas is a great choice if you’re looking for a calm, friendly environment with good hospitality.
