Our experience at Marriott Jaipur was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations of the Marriott brand. We noticed a clear difference in how Indian and foreign guests were treated, with foreign guests receiving more attention and better hospitality. The first room had a leak near the bed and the bathroom was not clean. The hand shower caused water to drip from the overhead shower. When we asked for an extra mattress, we were given one that was very dirty with stains that looked like urine. Even after requesting a replacement, housekeeping returned what seemed to be the same mattress. The manager was helpful and arranged a different room, which we appreciated, but the second room also had problems—the bathtub was dirty and the flush was broken. Additionally, we were charged extra for the third guest even though we had booked the room for three people. Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards or expectations we have for Marriott. Jaipur has many hotels that offer better hospitality, cleanliness, and value. We would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
