Dera Rawatsar - Heritage Hotel

We had a lovely stay (my third time in Jaipur) on our girls trip. The hotel is in very good condition- maintaining its heritage touch while being very clean and no musty smell (usually the case with a lot of small heritage hotels). The room we were given was spacious, beautiful, nice bathroom and quilts were new and comfortable. The swimming pool was great for us to chill in after a hot day sightseeing. The resident tortoises were entertaining for my child. The breakfast buffet was fine. All the staff were helpful, I was always given assistance with parking my car outside the hotel. The place seemed safe, the owner family lives there as well, we were told. The place is about 15minutes from the main attractions and good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

During our girls trip, which was my third visit to Jaipur, we enjoyed a wonderful stay. The hotel is well-maintained, preserving its heritage charm while being very clean and free from the musty odors common in many small heritage hotels. Our room was spacious and beautiful, featuring a nice bathroom and new, comfortable quilts. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a hot day of sightseeing. My child found the resident tortoises amusing. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The staff were all helpful, and I consistently received assistance with parking my car outside the hotel. The place felt safe, and we were informed that the owner's family also resides there. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the main attractions and good restaurants. Overall, we had a great stay.

My stay here was the highlight of my trip to Jaipur. What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible, authentic Jaipur charm. Every detail’from the block-printed quilts and curated interiors to the beautiful garden and traditional dining area’has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the city’s heritage. Even the smallest elements, like the antique-style fans, the craftsmanship of the armoires, and the intricate woodwork, created a 'next-level' vibe that you just don’t find in standard hotels. It is conveniently located near the city center, yet feels like a peaceful retreat. I will absolutely make this my first choice whenever I return :)

Staying here was the best part of my Jaipur trip. What makes this hotel special is its genuine Jaipur character. Every aspect—from the block-printed quilts and carefully chosen decor to the lovely garden and traditional eating space—has been designed to showcase the city's culture. Even small touches, like the vintage-style fans, the detailed armoires, and the fine woodwork, gave it a unique atmosphere you rarely see in typical hotels. It's close to the city center but still feels like a quiet getaway. I'll definitely pick this place first when I come back :)

This hotel is a perfect oasis in the middle of busy, bustling Jaipur. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food delicious, and the pool a welcome relief (especially in 45 degree Rajasthani summer)! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They received and stored some luggage for us two weeks prior to our stay, and also sent forgotten items to our next location. The kindness and effort they went to was much appreciated. Special thanks to Dileep for facilitating this.I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return if I’m in Jaipur again.
