Not as advertised. Booking for AC form and staff shut off AC before 9am in hot 2 weather. Should list AC will be off at specific time. Need of major maintainece broken luggage lockers, holes in wall, toilet seats broken. 1 guy in our dorm room acted like it was his private room and asked for the AC and fan be shut off. None of use others could sleep. I had to go to reception at 2am to get AC turned on again. Management needs to maintain strict policy one person can't control entire dorm for their convenience. Only good thing was the night front desk staff William. Much better hostel choices in jaipur where they keep AC on all day, rooms are in much better condition and offer a better experience. Very poor stay.

Mixed Budget Stay

8.0

Madpackers Jaipur is a reasonable choice for budget travelers seeking a hostel with a social environment. The atmosphere is quite laid-back, making it easy to connect with other travelers, especially if you spend time in the shared spaces. Its location is also handy for exploring Jaipur and visiting key tourist attractions. However, my experience was somewhat mixed. The place has a nice concept and a good backpacker vibe, but certain areas could use better upkeep. Cleanliness was acceptable overall, though some spots would benefit from more frequent cleaning. The rooms are practical but not particularly cozy, so don’t expect a hotel-like comfort. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, though service was occasionally inconsistent. During busy times, things might take longer than anticipated. The common areas are probably the best feature, offering a good chance to relax and meet other travelers. Noise levels can vary depending on the crowd and your room, so if you want a quiet stay, keep that in mind. In summary, I’d consider Madpackers Jaipur a decent but not outstanding hostel. It suits short visits, solo travelers, backpackers, and those who prioritize socializing over luxury or flawless facilities. With improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and service consistency, the overall experience could be significantly enhanced.

Vibrant Friendly Stay

10.0

I had a very enjoyable and unforgettable stay at Mad Packers. From the moment I got there, everything felt inviting, cozy, and truly pleasant. The hostel was tidy, the amenities were well kept, and all the essentials for a comfortable visit were readily available. What truly made the stay stand out was the people. The whole staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Special thanks to William, who was especially professional, approachable, and supportive during my time there. He was always willing to assist and ensured everything ran smoothly. His attitude and service really made a positive impact on my experience. Zahi was just as professional and cooperative. He was always ready to help whenever needed and handled things with a great spirit. Both William and Zahi played a big role in making my stay easy and pleasant. Then there’s Varsha, who deserves special recognition for being such a warm and fantastic community manager. She truly went the extra mile to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment. You could really sense the effort she put into bringing people together and making everyone feel at home. She truly excelled at creating the kind of community vibe that makes staying at a hostel much more than just having a place to sleep. The community aspect at Mad Packers was one of my favorite parts. We enjoyed card games, karaoke, and various other activities together. It was simple to meet new people, chat, laugh, and just have a good time. It had that ideal hostel atmosphere where strangers quickly become friends and you leave with great memories. The location is another big plus. Being right in the city center makes it super convenient. You have easy access to almost everything you might need, and getting around the city from the hostel is very straightforward. Whether you want to explore, eat, shop, or just get around, the location makes it very easy. Overall, Mad Packers is an excellent choice if you want a clean, comfortable, well-situated hostel with genuinely helpful staff and a lively social scene. The mix of location, facilities, friendly people, and community events made my stay really enjoyable. Many thanks to William, Zahi, Varsha, and the whole team for making the experience so nice and memorable. I highly recommend it, especially for anyone seeking a great hostel experience right in the heart of the city!
