Marigold Inn - Homestay

Traveling alone as a woman can be a bit intimidating, and finding a place where you truly feel safe, comfortable, and cared for isn’t always simple. Fortunately, I met Janu, the owner of the lovely Marigold Inn Homestay in Jaipur, and from the moment I arrived, I sensed I would feel at home. I was definitely not let down! The location is ideal, close to the Pink City but situated in a quieter, more peaceful neighborhood. The property itself is charming, painted in the classic Jaipur pink, and has just the right number of rooms, creating a warm, intimate vibe. The staff are discreet, attentive, and always available when needed. They really know their stuff! Janu also runs Janu Private Tours, so he and his team are experts on Jaipur and India. My room was spotless, roomy, and cozy, with a proper shower, great water pressure, and most importantly, consistently hot water—which felt like a real luxury after traveling around India! 😂 The food was outstanding; I truly believe the chef is among the best in Jaipur. The Indian dishes were bursting with flavor. And if you ever get tired of Indian cuisine (though I can’t imagine how!), you can also order Western meals, all prepared with extra care and flavor that make them even better than home-cooked food. I also arranged for a driver to show me around Jaipur, and once again, everything was flawless. The car was immaculate, there were always snacks and drinks ready, and the drivers were incredibly kind and accommodating. Diwa, I love you! ❤️ You did everything possible to ensure my days and nights were exactly what I wanted. What I valued most was the genuine sense of being cared for without ever feeling uneasy or watched. As a solo female traveler, that means so much. If you’re visiting Jaipur, this is definitely the place to stay. You won’t be disappointed—and honestly, you’ll probably be even more pleasantly surprised than you expect after reading this, because there’s so much more to this place than I can express. Thanks to Janu and the entire Marigold Inn team for making my Jaipur stay so special. I will absolutely return! ❤️

The location is not good, but the homestay itself is excellent.

Il Marigold Inn è stata la migliore homestay in cui abbiamo alloggiato in India. Le stanze sono eleganti e tranquille; i bagni sono puliti (con phon) e le docce sono chiuse; inoltre la struttura dispone di una pompa che purifica l'acqua. Inoltre, la colazione era ottima!
