I was very disappointed with the service and attitude of the hotel staff.First, when I was using the elevator, a hotel staff member entered the elevator without waiting for the passengers to get off first. The staff member was looking at their phone while entering. I felt that this showed a lack of basic consideration for guests and was not appropriate behavior for hotel staff.In addition, there was a water outage during my stay. The water stopped running in the morning, and when I asked about it, I was told that a pipe had been damaged and that the issue would be fixed within about an hour. However, even after three hours, the water had still not been restored, and it was already time for me to check out.When I checked out, I asked whether the pipe had still not been repaired. However, there was no apology or explanation from the staff. Their attitude made it seem as though nothing had happened.I understand that unexpected equipment problems can happen and may not always be completely preventable by the hotel. However, in such situations, I believe it is especially important for hotel staff to communicate clearly with guests, provide updates, and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.This was my first time staying at this hotel, so the experience was particularly disappointing. Overall, I feel that there is room for improvement in staff training and basic consideration for guests.I had high expectations for the HOLIDAY INN brand, which made this experience even more disappointing. I sincerely hope that the hotel will improve its staff training and ensure that guests receive more considerate, professional, and sincere service when unexpected problems occur in the future.
