Hotel Fleur

As a travel agent who frequently stays at hotels and recommends them to clients based on my own experiences, I have visited Hotel Fleur Jaipur multiple times before with excellent results. That positive history led me to choose this hotel again. Sadly, this visit was very different and deeply disappointing. Issues began right at arrival. No parking spots were available, and the security guard directed me to park on the roadside instead of offering a proper parking option. At check-in, I mentioned I was a travel agent. The manager politely asked for advance payment, which I promptly made. I then inquired if the restaurant was open and was told it was closed, but I could order food online for delivery to my room. Upon entering my room, I noticed hair on the bed, blanket, and pillows. The bathroom was dirty and clearly not cleaned well. I called reception, and a housekeeping staff member came. Instead of offering a different room or fresh linens, he said no other rooms were available and asked me to bear with him while he cleaned. With no alternatives, I agreed. Later, I requested a bottle of cold drinking water, willing to pay for it, but was told the hotel could only provide water at room temperature. In the evening, I ordered snacks from the hotel restaurant, but the food was bland and disappointing. Since I was told I could order food online, I placed an order through Swiggy. When it arrived at reception around 10:45 PM, I was called and told outside food was not allowed because the restaurant had opened and no staff were available to deliver to my room. I had to collect it myself. When I questioned this, I was told outside food is prohibited after 11:00 PM. I pointed out my order arrived at 10:45 PM, before the cutoff. The staff simply replied, "Rules are rules."
