The Fern Nest Resort Jaipur, Series by Marriott

We stayed at this property for the first time recently, but honestly, it doesn't live up to the famous Marriott brand. There was no security check at the main gate or reception—no scanners or anything. We had paid part of the booking advance for two rooms, but at check-in, they said they wouldn't give us the rooms without full payment, which we paid immediately. We agreed to pay an extra 1500 for an additional bed, but again at 10 pm, they insisted on payment or no bed. Is this really Marriott Bonvoy? When we asked to speak to the manager at night, he kept us waiting and acted very busy. Shouldn't customer service be a priority? The rooms were below standard; for example, the chair in room 111 was broken but still there. Overall, very disappointing first stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel even for one night. The only positive was the restaurant staff, who were polite and welcoming. I don't understand how Marriott Bonvoy partnered with a property that has poor ambiance, uncooperative staff, no security, and just average food.

Staff were quite rude and lacked professionalism. They seemed unsure how to interact with guests. Service was very slow. The toilets in the rooms were not working correctly.

I reserved Fern Nest Resort in Jaipur for my daughter's admission at Manipal University. It's about 9 km from the campus and offers excellent value. We were happy with the warm hospitality from all the staff. Everyone welcomed us with a smile and was attentive. Anjali at the reception stood out as exceptional. The property is large and roomy. The rooms are tidy and the food is delicious. Anyone going to Manipal University should consider staying here. This will be my regular choice when visiting my child. Thanks to the Fern team.
