ITC Kakatiya, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad

Extremely Disappointing Stay ’ Not Worthy of the ITC NameOur experience at ITC Kakatiya was shockingly bad. The first room we were given was dirty, old, and poorly maintained, and the two alternative rooms they showed us were even worse. There were stains on the bed linen, dust everywhere, and room service was so slow that we had to call multiple times just to get clean sheets.We had requested a baby crib well in advance, but the hotel had only one crib, and that too with a filthy, unhygienic mattress. They took it ’for cleaning’ and returned the same dirty crib, leaving us no option but to let our baby sleep with us.The worst moment came the next morning. While housekeeping was changing the pillow covers, we saw the pillows underneath ’ completely black, moldy, and disgusting. The staff even hesitated to replace them and tried to simply put a new cover on top! Our baby had slept with those mold-infected pillows in the room. Absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a luxury one.When the housekeeping manager tried to fix the situation, she showed us another room, which shockingly had spiders and spider eggs. That was the final straw. The staff initially hesitated to let us check out, and only after contacting the General Manager did anyone take responsibility. He helped arrange a clean room ’ by which time it was already 6 PM and we hadn’t even had lunch due to the constant issues.Even the cleaner room wasn’t trouble-free. The shower leaked badly, flooding the bathroom each time we used it. A plumber came three times, yet the problem remained. We even checked the Suites and ITC One rooms, hoping for better quality, but they too were old, worn-out, and nowhere near luxury standards.Overall, ITC Kakatiya is the worst ITC property we have ever stayed at. Pathetic maintenance, zero hygiene, and completely unprofessional service. Families with babies ’ please avoid this hotel.

I stayed at ITC Kakatiya, Begumpet with my parents yesterday and we had a truly wonderful experience. The hospitality was excellent from the moment we checked in. The staff were warm, attentive, and very professional, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the overall ambiance of the hotel felt luxurious and peaceful.A special mention to the breakfast buffet - it was absolutely amazing! They offered a wide variety of dishes, both Indian and continental, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The diversity of food options made breakfast one of the highlights of our stay.Overall, ITC Kakatiya delivered a perfect 5-star experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hyderabad!

I stayed with my family yesterday at ITC Kakatiya, Begumpet, Hyderabad, and we had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, creating a relaxing environment for the whole family. The hotel’s ambience also adds a classic charm that makes the stay feel special.The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, and it was excellent in every way. The spread had a great variety of dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. The quality and taste were impressive, and it was a perfect start to our day. Overall, ITC Kakatiya delivers a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hyderabad.

This is an excellent property if you are visiting Hyderabad for business. After long day, you are able to relax and work outside their vibrant lounge Marco Polo where their staff does an exceptional job of keeping you comfortable by addressing your needs.Special shout out to Mr. Kiran who is the supervisor here who is quite knowledgeable. Kitchen staff is very friendly and provides round the clock coverage.

It is a very good hotel with great ambience. The hotel seemed pretty good regarding the banquet hall and dining area. The menu and the items were not so great when we went for a reception there recently. The hotel view and inside hallways and reception were very good.
