Jungle by sturmfrei Manali

I stayed at Jungle in Old Manali for nearly two weeks intermittently. It was my first solo trip combined with work, and this place truly felt like home. Huge thanks to Ankit, Sumit, and Mohit Bhaiya for their outstanding hospitality, which made my stay even more special. The location is right in the center of Old Manali, surrounded by many great cafes and bakeries. There are several hikes nearby that can be done in a few hours, such as the one to Goshal village. The common area is very calm, and after many months, working here felt less exhausting and much more enjoyable.

Great place to visit with family and have fun

Stay away from this hostel. The dorms are dirty, blankets smell bad, washbasins are broken, flushes don't work properly, hot water is unreliable, and power cuts happen often. The female dorm and bathrooms were particularly disappointing and badly maintained. The staff showed very little responsibility, kept blaming others, and mostly ignored guest complaints. The whole place felt unhygienic, messy, and neglected. It's a good idea but poorly carried out. Definitely not recommended.
