The hotel is on the top of the hill and isolated. Approach road condition is poor and high terrain makes difficult to drive. No nearby shop for any needs and swiggy service is not available. Food quality and ambience is good. Price is high for ala carte so prefer to book package for bf with dinner.

I had a very disappointing experience at Birding Resort.The biggest issue was the staff behavior. On multiple occasions, we had to repeatedly ask for basic assistance, and instead of being helpful, some staff members responded rudely. Hospitality seemed to be completely lacking.The rooms were not maintained properly. They were dirty, had an unpleasant smell, and there was a continuous sewer-like odor throughout the hotel, which made the stay very uncomfortable.A staff member named Priya was particularly rude and unprofessional in her interactions. Rather than addressing concerns politely, her responses were dismissive and unfriendly.For the price charged, the cleanliness, service, and overall guest experience were far below expectations. I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made in staff training, cleanliness, and maintenance.

The location itself is breathtaking - surrounded by mesmerizing views that make every moment feel peaceful and memorable.The food deserves special appreciation. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can truly feel the attention to quality and hospitality in every meal. The service was equally outstanding - the staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile.A special mention to Mr. Sultan - the owner of this property who is an absolute gem of a person, whose hospitality and personal attention make this place even more exceptional. His team led by Mr. Bhupinder in the restaurant are epitome of great hospitality.Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, delicious food, excellent service, and unforgettable views. A perfect destination for families, couples, and travelers seeking a relaxing and premium stay experience.

I recently spent 3 days at juSTa Birding near Indrunag Temple, and it was easily the best part of my trip to Dharamshala. This place is now my absolute favorite spot for a vacation!The location is perfect. If you love the hills, you have to stay here because the views are incredible. Everything from the meals to the general hospitality was top-notch. The staff really makes you feel welcome and cared for throughout your stay.A special thanks goes to Karuna. She handled everything for me, from welcoming me to managing my food & meals. She is so polite, kind, and humble. Honestly, her amazing service was the highlight of my trip. When I come back’and I definitely will’I only want Karuna to look after me again!If you are looking for a peaceful and happy getaway in the mountains, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it!

The hotel is located in a very good and peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, making the stay quite pleasant. The staff is courteous and overall hospitality is good.However, the connecting road to the hotel is in very poor condition and feels quite dangerous, especially for first-time visitors or during bad weather. This definitely needs urgent attention.The morning buffet breakfast is average. The quality is decent but the variety is limited and not up to the expectations for a resort of this level.Apart from these points, everything else about the property is good and the stay was enjoyable. With better road access and improved breakfast options, this place could be much better.
