Two Luxury cottages booked, given different categories of cottages, seen clearly in the photos. It's definitely not luxurious; furniture, doors, bathrooms, etc are age old; everything needs immediate maintenance. Resort runs a scam in the name of "outsourced-(so called, but it's not!!)" travel desk offering sightseeing. If you end up booking this property, go for sightseeing on your own, contact anybtravel agent-there are multiple agencies nearby, I'm sure anyone would be better than these people. There's no AC or fan in the room, we had two rooms, only one table fan was provided on request between two rooms, another was given on last of the three nights! Wash basin drainage was leaking, which was brought to their notice on the first day, but nobody came to fix it for three days, we managed it with a wiper blade!!! Bathroom kit-(tooth brush, shaving kit) is given only on the day of check-in (we stayed for three nights) carry your own. Go to the swimming pool, only to realise that there are no pool side towels, there's nobody there to provide it, room towels are strictly not allowed, so go back to your room, call reception, then someone will come with towels same as room towels; they really make you do the warm up before swimming!!! No supervisors, some people jump in without taking shower, without swimming costumes/cap!!! Count glasses, mugs, pillows, towels, everything in the room; not only count, but also check if everything is in perfect condition, because that's what they do at the time of checkout. They checked the lights and bathroom fittings-tap in perticular, at the time of check out!!!
We had a pleasant stay at Kodai Resort. The amenities in Kodai Resort needs a special mention. The hospitality was good and it is located at prime location of Kodaikanal just 500 metres away from bus stand and you can access Kodai lake, Bryant Park and Coakers walk just by a walk from the resort. Overall a satisfied and overwhelming stay at Kodai resort.
