Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worthy of a 4 or5-Star RatingOverall, it was a very disappointing experience. Based on the service and facilities provided, this hotel barely meets the standards of a 3-star property, let alone a 4/5-star hotel.1. Poor Coordination from Check-in to Check-outThe entire stay was marked by poor coordination and mismanagement. There was a clear communication gap between the management, supervisors, and ground staff, resulting in repeated inconvenience for guests.Before the check-in date, I received a welcome call during which I was asked about the purpose of my visit and the occasion I was celebrating. However, upon arriving at the hotel, the reception staff seemed completely unaware of this information. This raises serious questions about the hotel’s internal communication and guest management processes.2. Rooms Not Ready and Basic Amenities MissingThe standard check-in time was 2:00 PM, yet even arriving as late as 7:00 PM did not guarantee a properly prepared room. Several basic amenities were missing, and I had to repeatedly follow up with different staff members to get even the essentials.Even water bottles were missing from the room, and I had to request them multiple times. Basic amenities such as slippers and an electric kettle were also unavailable. Is this really what one should expect from a hotel that claims to offer a 4/5-star experience?Guests should not have to spend their valuable time exploring the room, identifying missing items, and repeatedly chasing staff for basic necessities.3. Disappointing Food Quality and Restaurant ServiceThe à la carte dining experience was equally frustrating. Orders took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and the food(lemon rice) was served cold, lacked freshness, and was disappointing in taste.When I raised my concerns with the restaurant supervisor, the response was limited to a routine apology rather than any genuine effort to acknowledge or address the food quality issues.To make matters worse, even something as basic as lemon was unavailable. I was informed of this only after waiting approximately 15 minutes during the meal. Such poor inventory management and communication are unacceptable for a property claiming to be a 4/5-star hotel.4. Inefficient Check-out and Baggage AssistanceThe poor service continued until check-out. Despite repeatedly calling reception to request a luggage trolley, nobody arrived to assist with the baggage.When I eventually reached the reception area myself, I noticed one or two luggage trolleys available, while staff members were standing around chatting instead of proactively assisting guests. It appeared that the ground staff lacked proper direction and supervision.5. Final Verdict: A Stay to AvoidFrom check-in to check-out, the experience was full of unnecessary hassles, poor communication, missing amenities, disappointing food, and unresponsive service.The biggest issue was not just the individual service failures, but the apparent lack of coordination, accountability, and effective supervision across the hotel.A genuine 4/5-star experience is about much more than the property’s appearance or its advertised category. It requires consistent service, attention to detail, and a team that understands and anticipates guests’ needs. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on these fundamental expectations.My recommendation: Think twice before booking this hotel. If you have previously stayed at a well-managed 4-star or 5-star property, you are likely to find the gap in service quality here particularly disappointing. Based on my experience, this hotel falls far short of the standards it claims to represent.
