The Tamara Kodai

Our stay at The Tamara Kodai was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is unbeatable, with an incredible view’the lights and atmosphere were magical. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush, clean bed that was perfect after a long day of fun. The hotel's amenities were top-notch. Mr. Ravi is an amazing guide who took us to several hidden and less-crowded spots that most tourists would never find on their own. The places were peaceful, scenic, and absolutely worth it. The restaurant and dining experience was incredible and special appreciation to Chef selva, thameem and hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.

We had a 2 night stay at the Tamara Kodai, and it was one of the best resort experiences we had in recent times. The overall ambience of the resort was calm n peaceful and to add to it the chilly cozy nights of Kodaikanal.All the staffs were very polite, warm and courteous.Food was top notch which was specially curated by Chef Selva and Chef Murugan and the items were delicious especially the non veg section.We had booked two Superior Luxury Suites and the rooms were very spacious, clean and well maintained.Areas of improvement - The overall coordination amongst the restaurant staffs should be improved as most of the orders placed are being forgotten by the waiters which leads to unnecessary delay in arrival of food items.Otherwise overall experience was excellent. Will definitely visit again and recommend others to visit too5/5

We had a wonderful stay in Kodaikanal and spent three nights there. The overall experience was very pleasant. The service provided by all the staff members was excellent, and they were courteous and helpful throughout our stay.There were plenty of activities available within the property itself, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We stayed with our 4-year-old son, and he had a great time as well. The arrangements made were very comfortable for families with children.The food was also very tasty and satisfying. Overall, it was a memorable stay and we truly enjoyed our time there.

Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and rich in flavour, clearly made with high-quality ingredients.A special appreciation goes to the chef Mr.Selva, whose culinary skills truly stood out. The balance of flavours, freshness of ingredients, and consistency across dishes reflected passion and expertise. It was evident that a lot of care and creativity went into every plate, making the dining experience exceptional.Overall, the hotel, restaurant, and chef together delivered an experience that exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and outstanding food. We would definitely love to return.

Huge shoutout to Mr. Ajay, our relationship manager at The Tamara Kodai, for literally making our stay 100x better! He managed everything so smoothly ’ especially the Jain food, which was just perfect every single time. From customizing the dishes to adjusting meal timings according to our plans, he handled it all with so much patience and positivity, always with a smile.What stood out the most was how genuinely he cared about our comfort. Always cheerful, super cooperative, and ready to help ’ he made us feel like home away from home. Thanks to him, our Kodai trip felt extra special. Truly the sweetest and most efficient person ever!
