The road leading to the resort is bit riskier.Those who travel there with your own vehicle shouldd be careful with your drive to reach there. There is a steep path from road to the resort. The steep continues for around 1 KM
I booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 1 child at Warmth Hill Crest Resort, Kodaikanal through Agoda for 14th August to 16th August, and paid around ***.Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.When I arrived at the property, I was shocked by the very small parking area. It appeared that only around 3 cars could be accommodated, which was not what I expected from a resort.The biggest issue was the condition of the rooms. The room floor was wet because rainwater was coming inside the room. When I informed the hotel staff, instead of providing a proper solution, I was told that the floor was wet because of the rain. I was then asked to pay an additional 1,000 for a premium room.The food service was also inconvenient. We were informed that food had to be ordered in advance, apparently because there were very few/no other guests at the property.And there is no network connectionDue to these issues, I decided that it was not suitable for my family and cancelled the booking without staying in the room.When I contacted the hotel regarding the cancellation and refund, I was told to contact Agoda. I contacted Agoda and provided the requested photographs as evidence of the room condition. However, Agoda later informed me that the photographs were not considered valid and rejected my refund request.As a result, I suffered a loss of ***, despite not using the accommodation.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, both with the property and with the handling of the cancellation/refund. I strongly recommend that travellers carefully check recent reviews and the actual room conditions before booking this property, especially during the rainy season.I hope the hotel and Agoda take such customer complaints seriously and improve their service and refund process.
The view was amazing plus the staffs were polite and cooperative. The food was average but it was all worthy. ✨
