We initially booked this property for two days but ended up extending for a third because the rooms were so clean and well-maintained. The location on the way to Auroville is fantastic—very peaceful and tucked away from the chaotic traffic, though still easily accessible.The only minor drawback is the parking setup. You have to compromise and park about 200 meters away in an open ground under some trees in the opposite lane. If you're okay with a brief walk to your car, everything else about this stay is excellent.
Chose because it was pet friendly. we arrived late (around 7.30 pm) No receceptionist from 8pm to morning when we checked out. Only thing the receptionist said on check in is that check out is at 10.30 am when the rece/? owner arrived. Stray dogs(thanfully my dog could pee in front of the hotel).Parking is in a ground 50 metres away. AC is in bad condition. Rooms were clean. No restuarant access though the menu card they provided for their associated restaurant chain did not even pick the phone and we were told to order by Swiggy. TV remoted were not working.Called the night duty man who said he will come at 9pm bit did not see him at all.I adviced them to remove the name Luxury from the hotel.I would call it a motel.
We had an absolutely awful stay here in June. The AC was not working at all, forcing us to survive on just a fan in the suffocating heat and humidity.To make matters worse, we returned to our room at night after being out all day to find it completely infested—there were flies all over the bed and the floor. When I called to complain, the manager behaved like a rowdy, speaking to me aggressively over the phone just because I was raising an issue at night. He literally tried to dismiss it by saying I was "only complaining at night."I actually had to record a video of the mess to prove it to the staff, and ultimately, I had to clean the room myself. The staff is never available at the reception counter, and they clearly do not care about their guests' comfort or safety. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Save your money and go elsewhere.
